Anna <br> Khmara — Middle East Classical Music Academy

Anna Khmara - pianist, professor at the Department of Accompaniment of the National Academy of Music of Ukraine, leading accompanist of P.I. Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine.

Born in Russia, she began her music studies at the age of five. Then she studied at the M. Lysenko Kyiv Secondary Special Music School, professor I. Lipatova. She continued her studies at Tchaikovsky national music academy of Ukraine, professors I. Lipatova and I. Pavlova. In 2003 - 2006 - assistant-internship, professor L. Tsvirko. She also improved her skills at master classes by N. Starkman and P. Nersesyan.

Anna is the winner of numerous international competitions, including the International Competition of Chamber Ensembles of the Gnessin Institute, the Pierre Lantier International Competition (Paris), Concertino-Prague, the F. Chopin Competition (Rome), the International Piano Competition (Belgrade), the Competition «Academy Tadini» (Lovere), the Pietro Argento competition (Gioia-del-Colle) and others.

As a soloist she collaborates with the Kyiv Chamber Orchestras, the Cherkasy and Chernivtsi Philharmonic Orchestras. Concerts took place in Ukraine, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, USA.

All the time, along with solo activities, ensemble music plays an important role. Since 1994, Anna Khmara as part of various chamber ensembles has been giving concerts both in Ukraine and abroad. Her partners in ensembles were N. Artamonova, B. Pivnenko, Mark Danel, O. Piriev, Y. Sirenko, P. Khmara, Y. Lukyanova, O. Savchenko, O. Zhukova, L. Demberg, M. Tomotaki, A. Ishivatari, D. Udovychenko, P. van der Rest, N. Maksymchuk, E. Rabchevska and many other wonderful musicians. The concerts took place on the stages of Ukraine, Poland, the USA, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Bulgaria and others. In 2017, 2 concert tours were held in US cities, including concerts in Washington, Chicago, Baltimore and New York (Carnegie Hall). 

As an accompanist she constantly works at master classes of leading soloists: Pavel Vernikov, Svetlana Makarova, Mark Danel, Boris Garlitsky, Igor Voloshin, Alexey Semenenko, Andrey Belov, Tatiana Mazurenko, Igor Tkachuk, Valery Sokolov, Alexandre Brussilovsky and Oleg Kaskiv. Anna Khmara is an accompanist at International master classes in Villecroze, Cagliari, San Vito, Vienna, Kyiv etc.
